I’m really interested in the natural world and as I live in the most beautiful part of the country it is easy to find wonderful scenes to paint. My media include oil, acrylic and watercolour. Favourite subjects are gardens, the coastline, water but anything else that takes my fancy is grist to the mill. After leaving work I embarked upon a 4 year full time degree course at Newcastle University which culminated in a BA (Hons.) degree in Fine Art. I’ve been a member of Howick Art Group since its inception and thoroughly enjoy its convivial atmosphere where everyone helps each other.
