- February: Super news! Artworks by members Janet Moloney and Carole Robson have been selected for the Woodhorn Museum 2024 open exhibition “Northumberland Now”.

- January: Fascinating oil painting demonstration by local artist Mike Ewart (see Gallery).
- January: Many thanks to Longhoughton Parish Council for its generous grant which will be used to refurbish our exhibition screens.

- August: Wow! Member Maureen Stephenson‘s solo exhibition is currently on at Newbiggin Arts Centre (5-18 August 2023).
- July: one of member Martine A. Delbauve’s pieces of artwork has been shorlisted to be included in the Northern Summer Exhibition at Newcastle Arts Centre (29 July -26 August 2023).

- October: Thank you Maggie Johnson for a super workshop on portraiture in watercolour (see our members’ work from the workshop in the website’s Gallery)
- September: Thank you to all of you who supported and visited our two exhibitions this year. £265 were donated to the Great North Air Ambulance Service, which is a great plus!
- Summer: A date for your calendar – our next ART EXHIBITION will take place during the Bank Holiday Weekend at the end of August, in Howick Village Hall
- May: Demonstration in the use of acrylics and palette knives to produce a striking painting of a tree by local artist Ted Taylor. See Workshops & Talks (under Gallery)

- March: – HELP! – Howick Art Group urgently needs temporary accommodation for its exhibition screens. Following storm damage, the place where they are stored is to be repaired.
