I am self-taught and, from time to time, attend short courses. Still Life, Portraits and Seascapes are my preferred subjects but, really, I paint whatever takes my fancy.
I use a variety of media, oils being my favourite.
I have been chosen 8 times for exhibition at Patchings, Nottingham, the Open Exhibition for The Artist and Leisure Painter Magazine and have won 3 awards there.
I have been successful in having artwork selected for inclusion in the Northumberland Open Exhibition 2026 at the Woodhorn Museum in Ashington (the exhibition runs from Saturday 14th February to Sunday 10th May 2026).
