We are a group of like-minded artists with a variety of interests and use a range of media. Weekly sessions normally take place in Howick Village Hall, Northumberland, and provide an opportunity to work alongside fellow artists in a friendly and supportive environment. Please visit our online gallery to see a selection of our artwork.
Whilst we have our own schedule of work, we also share ideas and tips. Every now and then we choose a common project in order to share our different approaches and interpretations as well as invite a local artist to hold a workshop – we find these ‘events’ are a useful and inspiring way to enhance our experience. Normally we organise two exhibitions a year (May and August) in which most members participate.
This group was founded in 1999, and was previously known as Craster Art Club. It was renamed Howick Art Group to reflect our change of location.
We welcome new members, whatever their level, preferred media and interests.
