After a teaching career I spent a number of years living in the French Alps where I developed an interest in decorative painting on wood. Since returning to the U.K., I found being part of the Howick Art Group encouraged me to explore different media. I begin by using pen and water colour sketches and photos of the natural landscape with the final painting being in oil or acrylics.
