- Howick Art Group’s calendar 2025 will be available to buy at the exhibition while stocks last.
- Out now: member Marjorie Firth‘s painting “Reflection” (with an article about it) features in The Artist magazine, October edition, which is out mid August. Wow!
- July: Group member Marjorie Firth‘s painting “… and crackers” has won an award at the Open Exhibition run by The Artist and Leisure Painter magazines: TALP Open 2024 .
- May: A big Thank You to all who supported our art exhibition earlier this month! In addition, thank you for the voluntary donations made to The Great North Air Ambulance Service (this time £150 was collected, which is great news).
- May: Our next Art Exhibition is on the Early Spring Bank Holiday weekend (4-6 May 2024).
- February: Super news! Artworks by members Janet Moloney and Carole Robson have been selected for the Woodhorn Museum 2024 open exhibition “Northumberland Now”.
- February: “Abstract” project (see Group Projects in the Gallery).
- January: Fascinating oil painting demonstration by local artist Mike Ewart (see Gallery).
- January: Many thanks to Longhoughton Parish Council for its generous grant which will be used to refurbish our exhibition screens.
